1. That should be for the clock (not sure if it also does the trip computer)
2. Half height arial switch there.

the top one does the clock/trip computer. On EF's (maybe all), you can always plug it in a get a clock working but the trip comptuer wont run unless you run the datawire from that plug to the instrument cluster.

that plug will only fit a clock.. its a different sized plug for trip computers on ea-ed

but a fair few of the wires needed for the conversion are there... only a few extras u need to find
