God i hate my car, it wouldnt idle, got that fixed, now it wont again, just replaced manifold gasket (took me 2 hours to find the right shape gasket damn victorian cars) replaced spark plugs, alternator belt, then someone reversed into it now i cant open driver door, also now it doesnt want to seem to go while sitting at the lights it will idle a little bit then go to 0 revs then revive itself GRRRRRRRRRR so im thinking of chucking in the towel and buying a motorbike :gren: :
just checked it out, its either burnt a valve, hyrdraulic lifters or something more sinister called the holden disease *shudder* : still it means its gonna be out of business (AGAIN) for about a week tils its fixed (AGAIN) lucky im on $12 an hour isnt :baby bott Last edited by Valknutr; 30-07-2005 at 11:17 AM. i hear ya!
even though its not an E series heres a run down of my car as of this last week (XF van). absolutely ZERO rear brakes - foot hard on brakes and wheels still spin on grass at idle. front right pads are literally metal on metal - left front is ok though. idles at 1500 when you start it up, each and everytime till you jab the accelerator. wants to run-on when you turn the key off. tram lines all over the place - new ball joints and tie rods needed. and to top it off....the friggen drivers side door handle broke today. |

If we all pull our E-Series apart, maybe we can make one reliable one? :
