Default Nfsu2

I'm stuck. I'm at a point now in NFSU2 where all the races that you can find on your map or see on the road have gone. Finished the world map all stages and I can't locate anyone to race. If I go through Coal Harbour West, theres an area at the end which is still locked. Just near a body shop. And the last car in the car lot is a mazda RX7. I'm still not finsihed the game as I think its about 80% complete. Any idea's anyone?

Drive around, looking in all the hidden alleys and such. There are some races in the game that are hidden, and do not come up on your map.

indeed, most of the conditions of the contracts are that you have to get up to a certain star level, you should be able to look in the user menu or something and find out what you need to do, i think your current contract is in there. by that stage in the game, you might be looking at a 5-7 star car?

i spent ages finding the least-visible ways to increase the star rating without the mustang getting all riced up and it worked out okay in the end.

I hated the rice factor in Underground 2. Glad you don't need to do that anymore.

Another hint. You can redo races via the menus in the game. Now if you win it, you won't get that much reward money. But when you start the race, restart straight away, and then if you win, you'll get a lot more reward money!

I'd never finish that game because of the rice factor. I made it look good not crap.

I just recently got back into the game. I find it pretty tedious having to drive around searching for races and stuff. I don't think I'll ever get around to finishing it.

I've finished the game a few times, when you have found all the races you can, go back to your menu and enter the races from the world map, it shows you all the races there. But yes you also need to rice up your car to progress.

Yep - when winning races isn't enough, the game forces you to become a total w4nker. :MrT_anim:

Completely stupid IMO. :

I find it easier to use AWD cars to drift in Carbon. WRX is my drifter of choice. Its weird, I know but the RWD cars just tend to oversteer too much for me.

Yeah I did that as well - you know how there are 4 'layers' of vinyl stickers available? I always picked exactly the same vinyl for all 4 layers, and chose a colour similar to the cars paint colour, that way you still get all the points for ricing the car up, but its hardly noticable when you are racing.

And doing consecutive helies to gain nos is heaps fun
