Going by that front bar Id say Superlows are the go, Ultralows are going to be a PITA.

How much should you pay to lower a car? Pedders quoted me $965.

if ur not confident at doing it yourself
pay another member to do it and give them a hand while its being done.
would cost way less and you'll learn heaps in the process

no warrenty given though lol.

and i can get Super Lows or Ultra Lows for $170 (all 4 springs) and lowerd shockes i can get for $178 Front (Monro Gas)

and my reason for this thread was if i could come out and see someones car so i know what it looks lik with either of them springs

Im not in Melbourne but here is a pic of mine with SuperLows and the exact same shockies on the front Monroe Gas

16" wheels 225*60 baloon tyres

I have already destroy a front guard on a sharp turn so ultra lows would be useless unless you live on a airport runway or dont carry any passengers

check out the EF/EL thread in Show 'n' Shine Forum, for some great looking EF/EL, lots of lowered examples too.

This should keep you busy for a while. :P

Everyone else is doing it, so here's mine with Kings superlows and Monroe GT gas. From that angle it looks higher than it actually is. The ride is perfect.

i believe it all depends on the lowest point to the ground on the car, it has to be more than 50 mm or something, but i aint sure on that one

legal height in SA for ef/el are 340mm at the back and 350mm at the front, that is measured fron the centre of the rim to the centre of the wheel arch.

What a rip off!!
Go to JMM and get it done if you haven't got another member on the forum that will help you. I got mine done there and it cost me $400 and that includes GT gas rear shocks.

Oddly enough I haven't taken a pic of it lowered with new rims on it yet. I guess I should give the car a wash today and get some shots. :P

Do it yourself, it's heaps more fun. If you can call countless cuts, bolts that won't move, smelling like WD40 and trying to clean grease out of said countless cuts before they get infected fun.

Naaaaw, brake cleaner is better. Jee the funny looks I get spraying my cuts with it. It's also good for cleaning your hands, just don't use it in the shower. That hurt.
