The object of the game would be to keep all parts of the car operating at one time...

To go up a level you have to sell your car and buy one with more problems!

and the mystery car is the elusive el gt plus the start car is an 1988 speeder cfi 3.2 and have to upgrade with money you dont really have nor could afford !!!!

there should be a part of the game where you have to be a taxi driver in your trusty EA beast, taking people from destination to destination, and if you can do it successfully without being stabbed or robbed you progress :P

Yes, yes you should. If you keep it faithful to what games were like in the late 80s and early 90s, it would be 2D rather then 3D (for now we will forget games such as Wolfenstein 3D), which might make it a little easier to make...

Having said that, I'd want a 3D version :
