Hello all,
What options would i have as replacement front seats for an ed xr6? Would ef or el xr ones fit? My drivers seat has seen better days and i found the ef and el seats to be a little less firm. Thanks :sm_headba |

they fit with modifications... i've just put nf fairlane seats into my eb.. basically one of the front mounts has to be moved inwards a bit, and you need to make a new rear mount, or what we did with my car was weld an eb mount on to the nf rails.
or you could be like rmyers and cut out your floor and weld an ef/el one in :P |

Why? They are easily the best seats on any Falcon up until the BA FPVs.
The firmness may be attributed to it being worn.

Get an auto trimmer to retrim them, they should also be able to make them a bit softer too if thats what you prefer.

There is a huge difference between EF and EL Xr seats. The EL are much more comfortable and supportive, and has better velour rather than the crap material they used on the EF's
See the seats in Jet XR, based on the original EL seat.......mmmmmm
