Red face Which XH tensioner?

G'day all,

I've been informed there are 2 different XH tensioners with very different retail prices available. This is for the purpose of bolting an earlier model (ED) manifold onto a later model (EL/AU) motor. One is labelled 'Outback/GLi', part # EHC6B209A, and the second was labeled 'Ute/XR', part # EF6B209A.

Can anyone please confirm which is the correct one for this application?

Many thanks!

I'd say the outback/gli version would be the one you want the XR version would be for the BBM wouldn't it?

Really.....My mate has a late 98 XH which still has the EA-ED manifold. When did the series 2 start? Surely the AU wouldn't have been far away.

XH's were produced upto 99 and non XR models still used the ED manifold. Series 2 started mid 97.
