Default air intake prob

hey just got my car back from the mechanic and took it for a big spin... oh everything was going well. i jumped out, and lent it to dad so he could get some beer. got a call "im coming home, your cars f****d"

the thing would crank and fire, but wouldnt run without a reasonable ammount of gas. wouldnt go into d or r without stalling. he pushed the power button and it was drivable (hey who says that button is useless!) so he limped home, and when he pulled up i smelled the burning. i couldnt put my finger on wtf it was. lifted the hood with an extinguisher ready... and found the problem.

see the intake pipe, that leads from the very sexy painted airbox to the throttle body. now see the german sausage looking plastic thing that curves off it, near the wiper bottle? well it fell off and landed on the headers (the burning smell).

i got dad to start it whilst i held my hand over the hole in the pipe and the car runs fine.

lol, now for the question. anyone know how much the german sausage looking thing is worth? wouldnt be too hard to get would they?

and whilst your here my car is missing a cai. where can i get one to suit my eb? all of them are EF-EL.
