Could anyone with a
STOCK Series 1 EA Fairmont ghia with 3 speed auto Please tell me there average L/100ks. Im sure that 4 speeders are higher then the 3 speed auto readings. My mums EA is currently getting 17.8 and Im not sure if thats high for a 3 speeder. thanks

Mick, your auto is stuffed. I don't think converting to a 3 speed is going to help the problem. :P
Oh, it's your mums car? So you haven't broken your car enough, now you are going to break her car as well? Unbelievable. If it is any use though, Ford figures say 13 city, 9 highway, so add around 20% and you'll be about there. So it probably is a little high. |

WHEN my car was 3 speed 3.9L cfi with extractors n cat back i was getting 520 clicks a full tank on bp ultimate.

I thought mine was usually a fair bit lower than that, but it depends if we are talking about city/highway, and we are also assuming the trip computer is accurate (which I never did).

mine was on about 15L average when it was a 3 speed.

well not sure if this helps ???? but i got a 3 speed fairmont and i added a trip comp and its sitting on 16.95 after a bit of a highway trip but normal city driving is around 17.5 mark

thats when it was stock and cfi now its even higher like on the 18.5 - 19 mark lol its way to high !!!
