Our little girl Ditzy (who is only 10 months old herself) had a litter of kittens today. There are 6 of them, 2 ginget, 1 pure black, and 3 black with white and grey markings. Of course these markings may change as they grow up. Here are some photos of them at about 7 hours old. They are actually quite large for newborns. Enjoy. If anyone is thinking of getting a kitten you can let me know. Also if anyone just wants to come and have a look feel free.

That's terrible! You've let 10 month old Ditzy go out and get knocked up at that young age?? Teenage births should be discouraged... not oohed and aahed about!

I cant help it, she appears to be a little slut!!!
Only kidding. We went to the vet a few months ago and he said that although she is quite a small cat for her age she would probably get pregnant this season and that she should cope with it fine. They are cute as hell and Ditzy is doind a wonderful job. She is obviously exhausted but is looking after them wonderfully. We live in Caulfield North in Melbourne. People can email me or ring me in 0418 372390 if anyone wants to come and meet them. It doesnt matter if you want one or not, you are still welcome to come and say hello. They are definately worth a look |

 : I've got a fishing trip coming up, can I have a few, (for mice on the dinghy you understand).On a more serious note, same thing happened with my ex's cat (10 mths) 3 kittens, anyhoo she contacted the Keysborough animal shelter to offload the little bai I mean kittens, they have speyed the mother for $60 (I know cause I paid for it) @1 hr op, that's half of what she'd been quoted at most vets. Might be worth a thought as the bait is only 4 weeks old & the mother was up for it again (if you know what I mean).
