Default What's that do??

I was having a good look under the bonnet of the ED today, and I notice a wiring plug not hooked up. Its blue & Im pretty sure one of the wires comes off of the Thermostat housing. Anyone know what it is and what it is supposed to be hooked up to?

Is the plug the same style as the injectors? If so its for the climate control. The highspec cars has a temp sensor in the side of the thermostat housing and that plugs into it
