Default Club display at Bigpond Finale

As you may have read elsewhere, we have arranged with Ford to have a club display at the Island for the final round of the V8's. Plenty have already responded saying they want to come along, but the dark side club reckon they'll have 50 cars. Now we can't let them have a bigger or better display than us, so don't forget to RSVP to events1@fpvxrclub.com to be included. Tickets do not come with the display - you need to purchase those yourself.
Check out the club website for all the details. :eclipsee_

That means, on average, Australians get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an aussie.

Default Pics of the Island

Well what a weekend!!!!! I'm still recovering..... Our display was fantastic and the QLD guys who did a fab job of making the grandstand look very blue parked with us as well.

We outdid the team red who did a miserable attempt at having a club display next to us (which, let's face it - isn't hard!!!)- as soon as you came through gate 1 all you could see was team blue!!!!

Check out the gallery of the weekend........ :eclipsee_

G'day all,

On behalf of our members that joined you for the weekend, I would like to say thank you for hosting them. I have talked to some of the clubbies that went down (the ones that have sobered up) and they had a great time. Hopefully we can do the same for you guys if you come up to God's country for a round of the V8s one day.

Cheers,

Ken

Hi Ken,

Thanks very much for the kind words!!!

The guys had a ball there and the result made it all the worthwhile........

You never know your luck - we may indeed make it up there soon.

Cheers,

Karyn

Thumbs up QLD amongst the Vic's

Hey Troops,

Thanks for a well set up display at Phillip Island, all of us from the QLD club had a cracker weekend and it was great to be able to set up track side with you all and show that HSV mob who rules the track! I did notice that at the end of race 3 they had all disappeared with their tails between their legs...poor things.

We certainly raised a few eyebrows with the QLD plated cars amongst the Vic plates. Met some great people in your club. Keep up the great work and let us know when you are going to venture up the QLD Raceway and as Ken said, we can return the favour. Just don't expect a beautiful setting like Phillip Island though...what a great location and friendly people.

Thanks all from Dave and Sian in the red AUI XR8 (747FLI)
