This might change your mind about swapping the whole engine. I raced another EA manual the other nite. The specs on his engine were 3.9 with crapped out piston rings and high 200thou kms. Specs on my engine are AU 4.0, 138thou km's doesn't blow any smoke and oil is still clean.
Race was dead even all the way. Since updating to the AU motor from a 3.9, in my opinion there is no real performance gain. |

a SSS?
do you do alot of miles?..........whats more important, fuel economy or comfort. Im paying a little more in fuel but im not tied of driving, infact ill take the long way home because my car is so comfortable to drive. (i have had expirence in the SSS game) mind you the SR20 has just as much potential as the mighty 4l but cant match the comfort or torque output. I rebuilt my XR head for $350 inc 30 thou being shaved.
