Default Single or Multi point injectors

IT IS THE FUEL INJECTED CARBY MODEL, THESE HAVE 2 INJECTORS DOWN INSIDE THE CARBY THROAT,


This is info from previous owner, does this discribe a single or multi?

yes and no, the MPFI is more powerful and other things but i dont see any reason why it would be a problem.

Nah it's not really bad, it's just not the good motor. Both CFI and MPFI will produce pretty much the same fuel economy, only the MPFI engine is more powerful with 139 kw against 120 for CFI.

To add to this, CFI = the motor with the "tennis raquet" (thanks Kyle for the description) air filter and "carby". CFI is the centre point injection motor, which has the two injectors in the throttle body.

MPFI = its intake manifold looks like a set of exhaust extractors, and has six injectors, one for each cylinder. Hope that helps!

CFI's tend to use more petrol. :( Sad fact.

I have a CFI EB and very soon will be a MPEFI
