Just wondering what sort of prices i would be looking at to get the roof re-lined? What are some good places in Sydney to get it done?

Most auto trimmers would be able to do it for you...
However, if it was me, i'd probably just grab one from the wreckers. It'd probably work out much cheaper |

when my roof lining started sagging i called around to different wreckers, one place qupted me 140bux (must of been gold!), i ended it up picking one up from another wrecker (u-pull-it) for 12bux. not worth the hassle of getting it retrimmed unless your changing the whole colour of your interior and you want the roof to match.

Hi Guys thanks for the replys,
The roof lining isnt in that bad shape just really saggy and coming away around the light, Can a trimmer just use the lining thats there or will the try and talk me into getting it all replaced?

They will use the base but recover it with foam and cloth.

I did the roof lining in my old EA. I had one sitting in the garage which was in top nick and slammed it in. Took less than an hour but you have to be very careful getting the crappy plastics off around it, you may end up with sagging trimmings if the clips break.
I've sold 2 roof linings for $20 out of some wrecks, so I'd estimate wreckers would charge double that. There's SFA difference EA-EL but the materials would be better in the latter. Make sure you get the right one though, otherwise you'll be cutting holes in it or adding interior lamps :P Sundeep |
