Default EL xr6 T5

Hi all

Im going to have a look at a T5 which was ment to be out of a EL xr6, is there anyway of knowing if it is from a xr6 not say EA, Like part numbers or something?

Just dont wanna pay the extra for a EL box and find out its from a EA

i dont know if tickford boxs are different but an EL box should have a 96DA part number on the tag, EF 94DA, EB 91DA, and EA 87DA. if there is a tickford box the DA will be DT.

If it doesn't have the partcode tag on it anymore (which it should) there is a year of manufacture cast into the side of the casing.

Look on the top of the box

EA's will have "BASIC 3" on it
4.0 boxes (all the same EB2 4.0==>EL XR6, no diffrence) will have "BASIC 4"
