Since the budget on XR front conversion and interior and exterior mods has pushed past 5000 dollars, I can't get my 19's I want for my EF anymore. Girlfriend has said, if I get them, she will walk.
I do want bigger rims on my car, and since I was unable to sell my EBGT rims, I wanted to know what people would think if I put them on my EF. I know there's a pet hate for older style rims on newer cars, but considering these are Ford rims and there's only about 4 years difference between the car and the rims, I was wondering what you guys opinion would be. Only other option would be if someone purchase the EBGT's then I'd be "forced" to get my 19's. PS. if your interested PM me. Cheers, Michael

The EB GT ones would look nice, I reckon. They may be older rims, but sometimes they suit the car really well (I have EB XR rims on my EF, but I don't think they suit it all that well).
Are the FTR ones the standard ones, or the ANZ copies? If they were originals, I'd be tempted to hang onto the standard ones, cos I like those rims, but IMO, the copies don't look as nice.

I reckon you should lower the car before you make the decision on wheels ;)

Im not really a fan of EBGTs on EF/ELs but go with whatever you like. Id keep the FTR's or buy some BIG rims.

The car is lowered, it was fitted with tickford sports suspension when it was bought new.
I would buy bigger rims but I can't unless someone buys the EBGTs. I'm not allowed to get bigger or different rims, stupid girlfriend. Heh.
