Those kays are small dude.. These engines are bullet proof. And anyway, even if the engine was ****ed, spend $8k on the car to buy it, then another $10k on then engine and whatever else needed attention!
I don't know if it's a series 2 or not though, although i've emailed the seller asking them if it is.. Only time will tell.. |

Ok, well that atleast keeps the value up on mine..
Anyway, it's better than it's not a series 2, because imagine the potential for this car! Offer them $7500, and spend the rest on engine work (read: trickflow racing kit with maf and injectors to suit $6k) and a decent set of wheels ($2k) and minor touch ups here and there, and you still get away with it cheaper than buying a good condition series 2.. |

yeah well it is really cheap for what it is... when i was looking at cars most of the el xr8s seemed at least closer to 14-15ish.. i think i even saw one for 18. i sure wouldn't mind a manual el xr8 would be a nice car to drive.

That's a pretty cheap XR, looks to be in good nick too and it's MANUAL. I doubt you'd get it for 7500, but who knows..

How much is a good condition series 2 worth these days?
I dont know if I would be comfortable buying a sub par car then spending thousands on it making it faster
