load up the config by typing in the address bar about
 igand set network.enableIDN to false. http://www.shmoo.com/idn/

ok....
URL spoofing is when your Web browser is tricked into "talking" to a different Web server than the one you intend. I.E. someone sets up a dummy fordforums.com.au to get you to type in your details. This workaround apparently prevents that.
