It's a gas thing, the DTE on mine (dual fuel) takes a while to work up to the full distance. An electrical gremlin of sorts.

Others will tell you the exact reason, don't worry about it, go by the guage. You should get 14 litres per 100 or so.

The DTE number will fluctuate depending on how you drive too. After 3 hours of light throttle highway driving at 110kph and then refilling, my AUII wagon showed over 700km DTE. It only took 15 mins of city driving to make it fall to about 550km.

ford haven't figured out how to perfect this on factory gas cars.. my ute never shows the correct gauge or DTE readings.... it is because of the units on the side of the tanks.. if you would like a more accurate reading, look on the side of your tanks.. the right one can be seen through the right wheel arc and the left one can be seen throught the filler flap. talk to mechan1k about this problem as he has bought new units for his tanks and it has fixed the problem

can you check the levels on the sedan?
Btw, my gauges appear fairly accurate.
