Can anyone tell me if the early EA'S diff 2.92 or 2.73 i think will fit in a commodore diff? Or even just a centre swap will work?
Thanks in advance

ummm... good questino... yes they are BW diffs, but you will have to look out for 25 spline centres... you will want a 28 spline centre from an eb or ed...

for a definite answer, give mal wood automotive a call... talk to ben and he will be able to advise you...

Diff gears can be swapped, for whatever ratio, although over 4.11's machining may be required to the housing. Provided centers are the same splinage should go in. Both Borgwarners.

yeah all the diff gears except the 2.77 should be interchangable, but you will need to get them lapped in properley.

even if you swap the whole center you will need to get it lapped by a pro - failing to do that will mean you have a noisy diff that is weak and will wear out or break in no time.

Dont lap it in, just slap it in, itll feel just like a factory holden!

Yeah, mine is pretty stuffed, but i wouldn't put it down to a holden, Borg Warner probably.

Also thanks Rollin, thats what i was told, just wanted to make sure first.
