well as long as you learn from it, presuming you were driving like a madman in the backstreets - if not well it's the cops just doing their job.

Well $hit happens, I was pulled over in my driveway. Got to drive in turn off the car and then a pursuit Commo pulled in behind. No reason at all, just a random roadworthy check and breath test.

It happened to me more times then I care to remember when I was on my Ps, usually just as I pulled into my driveway, they'd pull in behind me for a 'random' breathtest. I know why, it's because the street I live on is used all the time for street racing, so a Falcon with P plates on it on that street turning into a driveway just after a marked cop car starts following it would look sus.

Because she doesn't like the attitudes of some of the people here, I'm not going to name names or stoop to a low level like some people do. She's still active on car forums, just not this one, and her and I are happier then ever and really looking forward to the arrival of our baby.

I've never been pulled over. Ever. Even when I was on my P's. Not a single fine.

I've had some close calls, once turned right at an intersection, gave it a bit of stick, slid the ИИИИ a bit, made some noise and then realised there was a cop sitting no less than 50m ahead of me. He heard and saw it all. I roll up next to him, he looks me up and down, lights go green and we both drive off nice and slowly... :

Yeah, whats the deal with gettin pulled over in the driveway, this happened to me about a year ago. Mum watched it all from the loungeroom...laughing at me for that matter, and for the next few days all my neighbours were asking her what happened.
I thought i was the only dude this could ever happen to, not once but twice.
And everywhere i went they were pullin me ova (and no, i was not being a w4nk driver either)!!!!
I was gettin sick of all the fuzz attention so i went to the local station and explained what was goin on, turn out a car that fit my cars desription was involved in some drug thing in footscray....why was i not surprised.
All is good now.

Good to see that they atleast let you go once they see your not a "hoon". In some areas down this way you would have gotten no less then 17 canaries :P...

Got pulled over once for driving 15kms over the speed limit (115 in a 100 zone). I got a big fine and 1 demerit point. This was in 2002, so my demerit point (and the 3 I recieved for my accident - Failure to Give Way) are gone now, and I am on a clean slate. Other than that, the only other times I've been pulled over are for random breath tests.
