Hey all, Thats right, after an 8 month absence, im back in an e-series. I hadn't planned on buying one again (was leaning towards an R33 skyline) but this deal was too good to pass up! As of tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 25th) I will be the new owner of Chris's EF Fairmont Ghia. Most of the SA guys will know this car well, as do I as I have followed chris with the buildup of it. For those who don't know the car, it is as follows: 1996 EF Series 2 Fairmont Ghia Driveline: -Factory Tickford (XR6) motor. -EF XR6 T5 manual gear box. -3.45 LSD. Modifications: -Pacemaker Extractors -2.5in single muffler sports exhaust (87dB) -Saloon Car spec cam -Adjustable fuel regulator -EL/AU intake assembly (From AU T-Series snorkel to T/B) Exterior: -Excelent condition Dynamic White duco -EF XR body kit (minus spoiler) -BA XR8 17in wheels (E-Series Offset copies) -Legal tint on all windows (as per SA Regulations 70% on front, 35% on remaining windows) -NL Fairlane cornering lamps -Tickford Suspension (Also have a set of Pedders Sports Ryder springs that will be back in the car soon) Interior: -EF Fairmont Ghia grey leather/velour combination interior in fantastic condition. -AU XR Momo steering wheel (In Black/Grey) -Custom door trims (Combination of NF Fairlane and EF Ghia to get velour padded arm rests) -Standard 250w Premium Sound. Details: -Car has done 177,000kms. -I am the 3rd owner of the car, (Chris was 2nd owner) So that's me back in the game. Looking forward to the next SA cruise on May 13, should be there! : : :

And the car is picked up and now in the ownership of Lee (Hotwire). I have to say it was a little bit of a sad moment, I certainly was a bit sad when I saw it drive off up the road, but it is time for new things, and I'm glad to see my car go to someone who will look after it and enjoy the work I have put into it!
Hope you enjoy Lee

Well chris can rest assured it will get the treatment it deserves. I will be bringing it back down to earth ASAP, and then it will be some minor tickle-ups to enhance the handling. But apart from that Chris has done a great job with the car, and I will proudly rep it at many SA events ;)
