Cars in pretty good shape considering.

Check out the passenger compartment - stood up pretty well!

Wonder if the chik sitting in front of the car was the driver?

I may have missed something ( crappy monitor ) but I can't see where the motor finished up in relation to the car. And I reckon KEEPLEFT will have something to sat about that armco fencing. And I can't see any Safety Triangles either ( crappy monitor again).

The Armco rail has done a pretty good job of deflecting the car. He should have his safety triangles out though to avoid a secondary collision. Where's Keepleft?

Cheers, Danny

Was going to say the same thing about the armco ... kept the vehicle on the road still ... only looks like it broke from the supports ... but the main barrier is still intake.

I think it is. The doors look very similar to a VT-VZ Commodore. The Commodore is based on the Opel Omega. I always thought they were RHD though!

Only RHD in England under the Vauxhall (Cavalier I think it is) brand name ... pretty much everywhere else in Europe is LHD though.

Wel it looks like the side rail did its job when you compare it to what may of happened if it was those stupid rails that is only made of steel cable.

I highly rate those cable barriers. Watching them in action is pretty incredible.

Unless you hit them on a motorbike in which case it slices you into multiple pieces.

Or get crowded into one by a car when you're on a Pushie....
The only advantage i can see in those cable barriers is low cost. Otherwise they're deadly if you're on 2 wheels.

It's definitely a 911 carbriolet. As for the cable barricades, I'm damn sure the won't be doing any slicing of motorcyclists, it's a damn sight thicker than piano wire. These types of things are tested before they're put into use. Sounds like a job for Mythbusters anyway.
