Hello, I posted this intro in "The Pub" section but since finding the E Series section I thought I would put a link to it here as well.
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=49151 In regards to my cars drinking problem and occassional idle issue: In the short term I will give the CFI throttle body a good clean with carbie cleaner and replace the injector o rings... Can anyone advise on these? I noticed there where a few part numbers on the E series parts database for injector o rings. Do Ford parts places still stock them? Being a rubber product that perishes with age it is not good to buy a "new" item that is as old as the car. In the long term I will give pick and pull a visit to find a decent MPI donor car. The usual... manifold, throttle body, air box, intake pipng, wiring loom, ecu, fuel pump, fuel filter & bracket, fuel pump, distributor. Is that all that is needed to do the complete job? Also I did a search for "How To" check ecu fault codes but had no joy. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot, Cheers, Damian |

I think you have the MPI conversione sused out there, you will also need the A/C compressor brackets from an MPI car as it needs to be lowered.
Welcome to the forums. great name by the way. :hihi: |
