Just an interesting thought as I was adding up the costs of mods over the past 2 years. Lets see a show of hands who has spent 50k+ on thier cars in the past few years? And who has spent the most?

Straight mods, on the EB close to 20,000 with fuel and repairs over 8 years another 20,000. On the EF, close to 7500 worth of mods so far, had it less than a year, more to come as well.

yes pyroay has spent mega $$$. The 50k figure has been well and truly eaten just by various audio installs over the years, then think about the engine, 8 grand of gearbox, trick paint and so on and so forth.
blows my mind!

well I bought my car for $660 and spent about $1500-$1800 on it in mods and just to freshen it up a little before as a base before I put a turbo on it.. Which I have now started to buy parts for.. Spent another $500 as part of that but it's not on the car so don't count it towards the cost just yet... i wanted to keep total cost of the car to uner $10k including buy price.. this will include paint and stuff if i can get away with it... $10k might cover stage one... :P

Do not ask
I don't know. I don't want to know. I know I would have house earlier if I did have LTDHO.

I only added this up a couple of nights ago.......$20K for me.
But I got the ute stock standard for free - hand me down from my older brother - so I'm where I should have been anyway. I have not regretted a single cent of that money.

I'd say about $18k all up for both cars. Once it hits $20k I'm finished! I swear.

But I gotta add, the looks you get from people when you drop a massive fk off dose or cruise past them with your paint blinding them, it's all worth it!! Especially when the "people" are hot Hawthorn school girl #####.
