ok so i removed the cover plate in the picture (opposite side though)
and in the yellow circled area i discovered a weird symbol below is a crude drawing of what it looks like. what the hell? it was only on the right hand side and is definitely pressed with the panel, not etched.

From what I know it usually means that the worker who last worked on this car has been sacked and 'gone' so they put a g on the side of the car or part they work on as a tell tale.

I’ve worked at (hate to say it But) GM (don’t work there now taken VSP package) :hihi: I think its a f#ck up probably a pubic hair fell into the press or injection mould when it was getting made. Sorry no aliens.
