Well guys n gals I have recently sold the XR off after the dismal attempt last year @pushing the I6 for grunt ,its time for me to move on
and have offloaded all my e-series gear, SVO included ,then Saturday I bit the bullet and bought myself a AU series II XR8 manual sedan. I CANT BLOODY WAIT I would like to thank all members weither Ive met you or not ,and must say I had the best time in the last 3-4 years while associated with the club, seeing some of the cars evolve into some serious hardware , the meets ,winning my first dyno trophy ,getting hooked on Drags etc I will try to come to meets from time to time and will still be a part of AFF (hmm might have to change my user name) So thanks AGAIN ,YOU GUYS ARE CHAMPS! |

How was the drive in the AU compare? Bet you were smiling at the first corner you took.
It's a matter of progress. I went from EBII XR8 - ED XR8 - AU XR8 myself, but was so impressed with the AU I got stuck, and after considering a BA, stayed with AU but a different model (TS50). Oh and welcome aboard to the AU club. Don't forget some pic's and be sure to check out www.aufalcon.com when the XR8 is picked up. :

Good luck with it man, least it's only the car that's changed. I met ya at the first Hallam Dyno Day I went to, first impressions last as they say. Top bloke and good luck with the new machine.

Nice purchase there Joel. Shame though I really wanted to see the SVO with the charger and a bit of boost up it.

Woot!
Guess its time for me to introduce myself to the club! Well im the guy that bought the EDXR6 off Joey! Its my turn now to do something with it! As im new to the club but a very old friend of joels! Maybe ill take the SC kit off his hands and continue where he left off!... As for the AU that he bought! i can say that it looks tuff as and goes good too without any work to it yet! <---(key word YET). If anyone know's this guy as well as me, i can say that there will be some mods done to the car when the time comes! |
