Im interested in seeing some people's tail light designs, whether its led's, altezza, darker tint etc. Just want to get some possible ideas for myself.
Would be much appreciated, thanks |

hey, i was thinking the same thing. i was thinking of experimenting with leds on el tail lights i have some ideas up my sleve just gotta get arround to buying some guinea pig tail lights to experiment on.

The latest trick is to remove the colour from inside the lights. Then use colour bulbs.

Without a RED reflector at least, or a red brake light lens the lights are not ADR compliant as far as I know.

then watabout altezza lights, im pretty sure they dont have red reflectors? There just coloured led lights, arnt they?

altezza? I presume you are talking about euro style lights...
I have never seen them for a EA-ED befor but I have seen them on an EF... |

Hey,
There are euro/ altezza style light for EA'S on ebay.. do a search.. look kinda cool.. if only they didn't have the dodge ridge.. I am in the process of customing up some tail lights.. can any one say skyline???..Lol you will understand when they are done.. Cheers, Nik

i think there is already someone that has done the skyline thing, comingthru or something.
Looked very well done. If I had ED lights I would take the bottom amber bit out, looks very nice.

theres plenty of ways, you can tint em, take the amber out of them, do like EDXR6T has done or other designs, be different but not to different lol

i have tinted my taillights black, looks great with the boot garnish being black also!

i only tinted mine with the spary on tint, looks cool to but my car is black and i have tinted side and front indicators as well. i also have a set of tinted headlight covers

You have to have some patients in order to do this as the spliting process takes awhile being you have to gentilly and slowly seperate the lense with out causing any crack's. And trust me it's easy to do so:P
