well today i borrowed me mates busted a$$ ED futura classic to look to see where things go. as i was looking around i spotted this:
its a cooler for the power steering fluid and it is mounted to the front bar that is connected to the K-frame. now my brother has an ED GLI and it dosen't have one. i was wondering if this cooler was an option/came out on the futuras or just an after market thing? pete j |

Hey..
I just had a quick look in the manual and apparently there were 2 different power steering coolers fitted.. one was the one we talking about.. the other one is a small one in front of the radiator next to the transmission cooler.. I don't know what models came with wat though.. Cheers, Nik

My ED was a factory 5 speed, and it definately didn't have a PS cooler. Bizarre!

i never had a p/s, or extra tranny cooler when mine was an auto.
its not a bad idea though for a p/s cooler. i did have a tranny cooler i was going to fit when mine was a point and go car, but i never got around to fitting it. i know Rollin has one, but he fitted it himself
