Wrote off my Fairlane By Tickford last Saturday, number 095.
It will be going to some action house in approx 1 1/2 weeks, can find out which one if anyone is interested. Don't know how much she'll go for but the engine is good interior is good, just parts are too expensive for suncorp. Airbags $2500 Grille surround $450 Grille $850 etc etc Front end damage only. Have a set of Bendix DB1353HD if anyone with aN FBT or ELGT, needs them unused in box (for cobra callipers). Cheers, now i gotta buy another car... |

Auction yard has no idea, any car with bags gone off wont go for that much! Anyway as soon as you bend a chassis rail or bags go off, you have an auto writeoff

is it a writeoff even if your airbags go off.. like say you're cruising down the fwy and it smacks you in the face?

is it just me or should that be repairable......fair enough a normal fairlane would be a writeoff, but i dare say that an FBT's value should see that as repairable...

I really hope someone who buys it actually fixes it up, rather than try and make a quick buck by wrecking it.....
