I said at the start of the finals campaign, watch out for the Dragons. This is the first time for years they've come into a finals campaign without the pressure of being 'the best team on paper', and to put it simply, nobody expected them to win. Without that pressure, the have played really well. Whoever wins next week between them and Melbourne will win the Grand Final

Home of rugby league no different to GayFL being played in Melborne when outside teams make the finals (West coast & Swans) .
All the last 4 teams are more than capable and is going to make a very exciting finals series .We will get to see some of the worlds best strike players with these 4 teams .

Broncos ftw :
Don't care who wins really, as long as its not the Broncos, don't want to hear from their arrogant stuck up fans. out:

Can't see how the Broncos can win the comp to be honest. Such short memories, I don't think last week anyone was predicting the Broncos to win it after they were flogged by the Dragons. And for those who say that the Bronocs don't fear the Bulldogs as they beat them 30odd to nil, the same goes for the Dragons and Melbourne playing Brisbane.

Well we aren't talking about your sexual preference here we are talking League and top spot travels away from home in the 2nd week win loose or draw and that's wrong.
But going onto the subject of AFL dude, If you take a close look at the current system the only time you need to come to the home of AFL is Grand Final Day. And rightfully so if you Finnish top spot.

But take a close look into the system here.

AFL Finnish Top. Home final. Win that final go 1 game from the Grand Final To be played at that Teams home Ground not in Melbourne (Unless your from Melbourne). Grand Final in Melbourne as always.

NRL Finnish Top Home final. Win that go 1 game from the Grand Final To be played not at that teams home ground (Unless your from Sydney). Grand Final to be played in Sydney as always.

Big difference none Vic teams in the AFL can play outside of Vic till GF Day. You can't in NRL if your none syd.

If every sport did that Baggio and Beckham would both be alot happier..everytime Warnie bowled hed get a wicket and when Hewit served outside the line he wouldnt be yelling his head off cos the umpire would say "its ok mate, close enough!" besides we (Sydney) won the comp last year.. that must hurt LOL

Dragons supporter here, not counting eggs before they hatch. fingers crossed we dont choke again

Ummm, I dont think SlickHolden was making an attack on Rugby League (trust me, if he was, I'd be all over it : ), just the finals system, which I have to say, is pathetic.

With the Force starting up i can't see why there can't be another NRL team back in WA. Union must have thought it to be a good place to start as they over looked Melbourne in favour of WA. So there has got to be some support there.

I sure hope the NRL looks at going back to Adelaide and Perth. Surely the crowds have to be better then what the Warriors draw. Or teams such as the Roosters.

I can't wait for another St George - Brisbane Final wooohooo
yes the dragons might have beaten the broncos 2 weeks back but in a GF hmmm I wonder what the stats on Broncos v dragons in GFs are.. hmmm
hang on I can hear Alan Langer saying something from the past .....

"Have St George crossed the try line yet?"

Don't write the broncos off, do so at your own peril... remember it was only a few weeks back the dragons choked on everything...

/rattles cage and runs...

Its just great to have the four best teams in contention this year so you know its going to be one cracker of a final either way....

Go the Broncos
