Ok,
So my old man has offered o give me his BA XR 17in" wheels & tyres. Now my question is, I know they are AU onwards offset, but I know offsets can be purchased to git them on an E-series. How much are offsets usually? and what are the pros & cons of them? I'm getting a pretty much brand new pair of wheels & tyres for nothing, dont really want to pass it up.

The offset is 25 mm. Without the correct adaptor the wheel will not fit or will rub through.
It's easier to but the E-series off set.

pre AU = +6
post AU = +30 (give or take pending rim width) Hub adapters are ok, but most insurance companies wont pay up.

Buy some BA XR copies in the pre AU offset, sell the original wheels to raise the cash
