Don't worry Jason. Mine is at 230,000 which is relatively low for an EA

140,000kms isn't much at all. For a 10 year old car, that's an average of 14,000kms a year.

There was a thread around here a while ago with milage. My old ladies EF has clocked over 450,000kms and the original motor is still going strong. The only fault she's had is the auto letting go about 12 months ago.

Yep my EL has 140,000km showing on the clock But it is wayyy wrong as it only had 64,000 km on it 2 1/2 years ago.. But as I have 4.11 diff The speedo is out so every time I do 573meters it clocks up 1km.. So I think my EL has done about 100,000km

Mine was smashed in the front end at 4mths old and at that stage it had 13,000km on it (hit in front with towbar) then it was put back together and served another 10mths and then smashed(went into rear of truck) and striped ( Took what they could) and I got it with 64,000km and next to no panals and bent rad support
Maybe you should have a better look at it next time ... its not to bad of nick for what it once was.. in its life as a taxi which was short it done a few kms but not 1/2 as much as a taxi that serves full duty.. There are EL with 900,000km and BA with 500,000 that I know of and driven . |

well 140,000 isnt exactly a low k car. But it really isnt much for a falcon, all depends on how much care and money you spend on it.
If it worries you this much you might be better chasing up a low k AU or BA
