Default So close, yet so far.

Very nearly finally bought my first Ford yesterday. With the pending birth of number 2 child, in 2 weeks, We figured we need something a little bit bigger then our KJ Verada wagon. First possible was a 2001 Volvo V70 but even though the price was right, we dropped that idea after a bit of research. Found a 2005 BA mk2 Futura wagon with power pedals, wife needs them, so thought we would have a look. Low Kays, tint, XR 17"s and a good price. Also looked to be an ex Ford exec vehicle, advertised as an ex demo. Just 1 small problem, the Verada. Talk about taking a hit on the resale! The damm thing has dropped more then $10,000 in 18 months, which hurts big time. So sadly I've had to walk away from the Falcon. May still end up in a Ford next year as I don't think my Charade is going to survive much longer, certainly can't carry 2 kids in it.

Yeah, unfortunately Magnas/Veradas don't have the best resale. Have you thought about selling it privately though?

Yeah the dealers will bend you over and not offer any vaseline when it comes to trade ins - especially on cars like the Magna/Verada

Why? I'm pretty sure your baby will fit in a Verada wagon.
