Default AU Ignition Wiring Diagram

Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for the AU I6 EDIS? So far I've checked the wiring diagrams and technical resources of AFF.com.au, the technical documents of FordMods and done a search, all with no results. Closest I've come is this , but it doesn't have an actual wiring diagram.

To answer the likely questions, I'm looking for this so I can look at ways of optimising my ignition. I'm doing this to help with future performance gains and to try and solve some starting issues (yes, I've changed plugs and am currently checking the fuel delivery system).

If someone was a wiring digram of the EECV as well, that would be awesome, but not as critical at the moment.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

i can tell you what pin on the ecu is doing what, if u let me know what u r after.
I am a little puzzled on how u wanna optimise ur ignition? the only way to do that s with an aftermakret controller.

For ur information EF an AU use a motronic style sensor pickup on the crankshaft. 36 teeth with 1 (sometimes 2) teeth missing at home position (visially check for missing teeth to confirm). Ignition offset is 10 degrees.

EF also uses a "cam" angle sensor pickup, which is located in the dizzy whole, which is a hall effect sensors, which is used for home position signal only. if u use an aftermarket ecu, the motronic sensor will be suffice for pickup only.

If u have any forther questions PM me or send me an email to enquiries@sjwperformance.com

Cheers
Mic

Thanks evilchief. My dad's an electronics engineer and I'm and engineering student. We're just looking at the ignition on my car to see what condition it is in and make some modifications to improve its performance. We may go to an aftermarket controller if it is deemed appropriate.
