Default XR6 S2 Front Bar $$$?

Hey just have a quick question, how much should I expect to be paying for a front bar from a wreckers (or other) to suit an AU S2 XR6?

hey mate im selling mine and my rear spoiler, looking for $450 for the front bar, u wont find one cheaper at a wrecker

damn jef, wish i needed that now, i paid a few months ago $400 to get my black front bar resprayed, as it was completely trashed from stone chips ! coulda taken a drive down to taree for the day

to answer the question wreckers will definately ask $500+ depending on condition

Thanks guys, not after one just yet but trying to price out what some parts would cost to repair a smashed AU and if it would be worth repairing.

I paid $600 for the XR front bar and bonnet from a forum member. Around $400 to $700 seems to be the range at wreckers and goold old ebay. You can also get the XR50 bar brand new, but unpainted, for around $500 or so from AWC - a better option, IMO, especially if you will be apinting anyway.

How do you guys think a silver XR front bar will look on a darker AU? I know its sorta border line Rice..

If you carried the silver through to the bonnet and front guards as a bit of as flame job, or some other merging pattern, then I reckon it would look fine. Fine Rice! LOL.
