Default NBL Grand Final

Brisbane Bullets versus Melbourne Tigers

Who do you think can win it?

As someone from brisbane who has assisted the bullets for many years, i would like to think that the bullets can win the series in 3 games, but in the realistic world we live in, i think it will be very close, and go to 4 or 5 games.

Game 1 - Friday 2 March - Brisbane
Game 2 - Sunday 4 March - Melbourne
Game 3 - Wednesday 7 March - Brisbane
Game 4 - Friday 9 March - Melbourne (If Required)
Game 5 - Sunday 11 March - Brisbane (If Required)

I know for certain, that i am attending the first 3 games, and I hope i get to see some good games, it would be a fantastic way for either team to finish off the season...

Cheers
Marty

Brisbane.. just, Melbourne match up well, its going to be a great finals series. Both teams play tenacious trapping D, they both have deep benches and great guard rotations, Sammy Mac will be the X factor for Brisbane though, he's in career best form.

Pretty spot on there 4Vman with your comments.

I too say Brisbane in 3. They are playing fantastic and the depth they have is hard to top.

However - Melbourne are no chumps either.

Should be a great finals series.

I think Brisbane will win in 4.

I only started following BBall the first time this year due to the conception of the South Dragons (my friend volunteers), but Brisbane have proven too good to be beaten this year.

However, Melbourne have proven to be a top team as well this year and although I think they'll be beaten overall, I think they will definitely get a game. I also think Melbourne has less pressure on them because Brisbane has been the standout all season whereas Melbourne at once stage was at risk of losing a top two position.

But I think Brisbane would be mentally prepared, so I think they'll win, but it will be hard. Melbourne won't give it up easy which is why I believe they'll get a game from Brisbane, possibly two.

Melbourne know how to get it done, i think they might have to much experience for the Bullets. Great effort on winning 20 in a row but that means there close to losing one.

Melbourne in 5, this is going to be a classic.

I am one of the volunteers with the Bullets, and if you click on the Bullets website, they have offered us a flight down on the chartered plane. (Which I would be crazy not to accept)

Vandrsxr6, One thing for certain, Brisbane will HAVE to step up a gear or two against melbourne, They have been cruising for WAY too long. I Actually think Melbourne might win the 1st, and potentially the 4th to send it to 5 games, and as you say, its going to be a cracker series, with two heavy weight teams stacked with talent at least 8-10 deep.....

Bring it on....

2 all heading into the third game and all the momentum with melbourne, who were VERY Unlucky not to win the first game in Brisbane....
Brisbane played their get out of jail free card in Game 1, and tried it again in game 2, but it did come off, when will they learn that they cant leave big margins in the 4th qtr and come back from there....

Brisbane have really had two bad games in a row, I don't think they will have another, their two good and professional to allow that to happen.
