Hello...
I purhcased a new ASUS 19" widescreen and hooked to my Acer T310 series desktop computer.. Problem is I cant seem to find drivers for the widescreen display. ( its res is 1440 x 900 ? The pc itself is about 2 years old.... P4 3.0 with 1GB ram ?> ? Can anyone help with a driver, , or a link .... thanks AC/DC |

Check your graphics card specs, it may not support that resolution. Didn't you get a driver disc with the monitor?

it goes up to 2048x1536, , but there is nothing for 1440 x 900 ?

My LG 19" wide was a bit finicky when I set it up. I could only achieve 1440 x 900 with the analogue lead (blue plug). Later after Vista was installed I was able to get that res with the DVI lead (White plug). May not be relavant to your case, but strange. As a footnote, I would deinstall your current graphics drivers, and reinstall the latest version. You may find it solves the issue.
