Work with coles express in Adelaide areas, where to start, punchups, holdups, public nudity, ******* in ricers, etc.

last night

a woman came in admitting she had done "a little accident" in her pants and wanted to know if something smelled funky about her!!! :

how about a guy came in with a 3L milk bottle full of petrol and a cigarette lighter and lit it at the lip of the bottle 3feet from me!!! (that was in mt gambier though, 2nd to last shift rocked up with a huge hangover the next day and the boss she was cool with that)

at victor harbor some people accused a guy of stealing the face off the head unit, he being a little drunk decided to prove that he didn't have the head unit's face by stripping off then and there in the middle of the shop :

got many more where those came from

Worked in the shell servo in Torquay year ago.

Always had lots of classic stuff happen.

Had one chick stand out on the forecourt at 5:30pm on a friday arvo and do a strip show for me and my mate working, very drunk, but hey, she was putting a lot of effort in so we felt obliged to at least watch. We held up score cards on white paper bags every min or so!

Was never trained or anything formal as an introduction. Just had a mate ask the boss if schmidty can have a job. Boss said yeah no worries, let him work 1 shift with you then get him a key. I had sold the service station owner petrol twice before i knew he was the boss! Never said anything to me! Because i was never trained or shown anything, had to pretty much guess everything, i never knew what the black button on a watch band did under the counter. Had a new chick working with me one day and we thought we'd find out. pushed it a few times, within 2 mins we had 4 cop cars on the forecourt and 1 on the median strip with cops everywhere!!! Turns out that was the holdup panic button!!! Ha!

Had someone try and hold us up with a knife, deano chased him out screaming and swinging a tie rod!!!

Had a chick take all of the packets of chewy out of a box then ask for a pen as she lifted the box out of the rack. Asked what for, she said so she could write down her number for me so i could call he as soon as i finished work!!

Had a dude in his dads good mates brand spanking new Turbo Diesel M class 4wd fill it with ULP. Came back 5 mins later and ask why it was running so crap. Told him what he'd done, and i could chuck it on the hoist real quick and drain the tank then he could fill it with diesel which would at least be better than trying to work it through. Was going to do it for nothing because i knew who's car it was. Belonged to the guy who owns Quiksilver. He just chose to keep driving it, and came back a few hours later to put a bit of diesel in since they had 'made some room'

Funny times working in a servo! Most laid back servo on the planet. Could do anything at all we wanted. No wonder it was going backwards!

never worked at a servo, but used to drop by and have a yarn with a m8 who worked nightshift at one.....

had a girl walk up to me with a bag of ice once and ask me if i wanted it, naturally, i'm like..... wtf am i gonna do with a bag of ice.... she comes straight back with "do you have a gf?" no "do you have a wife?" no "well when you do, when u go down on her, put an ice cube in your mouth, it feels fantastic"

all i could do was try to keep a straight face...... i knew who she was, and i've worked with her dad a few times.......

another guy used to wander in every friday and saturday night, feral looking guy in his late teens/early 20's, he'd get a handfull of dollar coins and disappear into the toilet, leaving 2 girls (easy on the eye, but definitely jailbait) waiting in his POS older model hyndai......

watched one guy chuck a u-turn in front of the servo, nothing special untill you consider he did it across the painted lines leading up to an intersection with a patrol car right behind him.......

Worked at a servo in Qld, had an old man calm as anything stroll in at about 3am, undo his belt, lower his pants and snap a huge **** on the floor. It's all on the servos cctv too.

A very old italian man in an ancient mercedes screaming and actually SQUEALING at me because of the price of petrol.. The customers in the store were ****ing themselves laughing. What did he think i was taking his money home or something?

So many stories lol

Eleven years of driving petrol tankers gives you a great insight into service station workers. Best I leave it at that.

Had a couple of really drunk chicks come in tonight, boy were they hotties : , (i don't usually go on like that cos i respect women) being very open and flirtatious then after about 5min of chatting the one coming on the strongest goes and ruins it all by saying that she'll be legal : in 1 hour and 20 min (18 though i thought consent was 16 in SA), I'm only 21 and definitely wouldn't take advantage of drunk chicks.

The missus recently bought petrol at the BP Marion Rd and noticed 3 other cars and a bike cop. She walked in to pay and the console operator was standing with his mouth open wide staring out the window. She asked what the problem was. He said 'I've never seen that, I've had drive offs but it has never been a bike cop". she laughed but was impressed with the speed he got onto the phone to the coppers to report one of their own had just done a drive-off. :

You haven't seen what drunk chicks are capable of until you have driven taxis on friday or Saturday nights. I started when I was 19, very scary.

I remember stopping to fill up at one of the servos on Marion Rd once. It is the only time I have EVER been asked to prepay for fuel! I was pretty annoyed because I only had my Visa card. How are you supposed to pre pay when you don't know how much the car will take? Especially when it's a rental car that needs to be filled right up. I gave the girl my card to hold, very dumb situation.

I've watched someone do a 55 point turn in between the two lines of bowsers when the service station forecort was full of cars...Lots of nervous faces as a p plater female (with passengers) was pulling hard left then right on the wheel of her non powersteering Suzuki Swift..a very austin powers like moment...

The console operator came out and started to help her to ensure she didn't hit the bowsers!

Seen a bloke filling up his deisel Prado and was in the habit of just putting the nozzle in and clicking in the auto switch thingy and then walking inside to line The autocut off things is supposed to just click off when the tank is full but it didn't so there was litres of diesel running out of his car.....he was busy reading a magazine and some one had to tap him on the shoulder and say "...ummm your car is overflowing".....

If I was guaranteed some nakedness at a servo I would go there to fill up for sure...

late on night/very early one morning i was driving back from the city and pulled up for some fuel at a servo. they had a great big ugly rottie sitting infront of the front door. i decided that i wont step over it, so i walked around the mutt. next thing i knew when i was paying for fuel was that i was being growled at by the dog. i put my hands up and told the attendants to back their dog off. they thought it was funny and just left me bailed up by the dog for a minute until he started nipping at my pants. than they called him off, i walked out pretty quickly as you can imagine. damn mongrels!! the dog was a pain too.
so as you can see, servo attendants have a greast sense of humour. :

: I did my mechanics apprenticeship at a servo in wollongong. One day a new saab 9000 came in with L plates on driven by a young aisian fella. He wanted to get close to the bowser so he reverses up and NAILS the throttle hits the bowser and knocks it off its mounts! Fuel was ****ing everywhere and we had to shut off the bowsers and call the fire brigade/police etc. When questioned he said "I just bought new car and am driving first time"

It's a security thing, with the amount of drive off's it's easily understandable.

We had soo many people come in yelling saying they'd never come back to the servo because of it, but really.. How hard is it to leave a card or some cash..

Once saw a guy pull up in a brand new BMW 4x4 (a M5 i think) he was pleading to leave his son there as a deposit while he went to get money to pay for fuel like he can afford a 120k car but not 1.10 a litre for fuel!!!

I've had a fella leave his 90 year old father there while he went to get money for his fuel, I felt sorry for the old bugger and got him a chair from the office and made him a coffee

Lol at leaving people as a deposit. Thats gold. Try working where theres lots of idiot tourists "That's 20 dollars thanks" then have them give me 20cents..
Or idiot's on special event day's just parking there cars on the forecourt and walking away, like i'm not going to call a tow company?
