They are fun at first, but a bit slow to type anything longer than a few words. Great as a SMS platform if you have a cell phone built in.

Have an imate jasjam (rebranded htc hermes). Lol, cost me a bit more than $300 but i love the thing.

Changed the way i manage appointments here at work, plenty of software to stuff around with, even started upgrading my version of windows and updating the GSM software etc etc. Broadband internet through nextG is pretty impressive (albeit expensive).

And yes... fun to play around with!!

I bought an IPAQ with 2 cases, screen protectors, phone, wifi, bluetooth, IR, 2nd hand (guy owned it for 1 week, paid $1,000 and then bought a laptop) for $200. He decided it no longer suited his needs. Lucky for me :

I have tom tom loaded on it and I use it for everything. Bought a GPS receiver and it links to the PDA using Bluetooth. Best $200 I ever spent.

Hey buck... what GPS receiver you go for?? I have tomtom v6 with aussie maps raring to go and am looking at the many gps options available to utilise this. But hard to get feedback on these fairly specialised products.

I have an O2 XDA IIs (HTC Blue Angel)...does the job nicely...mainly use it for mobile phone / TomTom 6 GPS and arranging appointments/reminders etc...

Theres a nice piece of software available for PDAs that I always use. Its call Pocket Hack Master. Allows you to overclock/underclock your PDA to increase performance or underclock to save battery power.

PM for a *link* if you fancy trying it...

I got mine really by chance. So I'm pretty lucky. The Bluetooth is a nice added feature, but unlike yours, I didn't get warranty. Only downside for me.

Ive got one, wife uses it to play solitaire, I use it for invoicing and stuff for work, also ringing people, only thing that bugs me is i keep loosing/breaking those bloody sticks also cant stop myself from chewing them! One thing which i find helpful is it's so easy to record things and the playback is crystal clear, Guess what my ring-tone is..........Boss V8! Whooo hoooo.
