Default Finally we have been down the quarter

We didnt think it would ever happen but last night we finally got the car on the track.
The back was lifted and is now sitting at 4WD status, the rear wheels went from 19" to 15" rims and we were ready to go

We had a few problems boosting it and the tranny was playing up, so it will be off for an upgrade

The first run of the night scored a 11.8 at 118mph and we we pretty stoked with that but with a MPH of that much hopefully when the tranny is sorted things will be better

Narelle

THANKS TO DAMIEN FROM ULTIMATE RACING DEVELOPMENTS FOR ALL HIS HELP, AND FOR SETTING UP AN AWESOME CAR
P.S there was a red XR6T ute their last night pulling some good runs....anyone from here?

Here are a couple of dodgy pics

The "awesome" look of the ENVI...maybe ill leave it that high at the back

The begginnning of a burnout.......i noticed full boost were there taking pics....hoprfully they got a good one

I am guessing it was the Red Dyno-mite ute? It is out there most weeks or it is when I go! Runs 11's.

yeah that was the one, but he cant go back anymore till he has a roll cage, ran a 10.9 last night. Was that you there last night??? you ran good times too, if it wasnt you then there was a yellow phoon there with an 8 bonnet doing good times, think it was running high 11's.

Congratulations on the times from your car!

I have stuffed it again, I haven't changed my avatar! It was probably the car in my avatar but alas it is not mine! I drive an "enemy" vehicle! I know the owner of the yellow car as he is on this forum! G&D F6, I think is his logon now! I have driven it but not in its current state, it is a bit of a rocket.

Congrats Narelle, 11.8 is a excellent time even better for 1st time out.
What was your 60 foot time?
You may have to get a edit on the transmission to ran a half decent stall converter for good launching.

Not exactly sure what is going to be done, leaving it all up to Preston Automatics who have a fix for the problems, an update to the one we already had done. The 60ft time wasnt too good because of the probs with the tranny....1.77. we have holidays in two weeks so will take up then
cheers

the tyres were 8 inch slicks i think and as you can see in the pics the offset was a bit wrong but they did alright, trying to find a set of au/ba/bf offset rims in a 15" that will clear the breaks but tried my dads au 15" spares they didnt fit, so may have to stick witht he e-series...........our other car has the same rims on it so maybe we could put the slocks on the wagon for a laugh
