There too vague to tell what the bugger looks like, but yes that is in Australia somewhere. The guy who took those needs to provide some more info.

So he can be hunted down and potentially have his balls chopped off? I think not.

I have seen clever covers like that put on mules to confuse any on looker. It looks like a hatch, but there is a good chance that it isn't.

I agree, the rear end looks quite short. The shots are in conclusive, but still interesting.

It it's like a goldy color then I saw that yesterday on the back road from Bacchus Marsh to Geelong.

Had both front and rear covered and was heading the opposite way so no time for piccies either.

As for the boot it was short, almost like a half boot/hatch kinda thing, definitely wedge shaped though so this might explain the short boot, the rear screen was rather swept back though also.

All I can say though is that I hope they have got fillers to confuse people because the basic shape looked kinda not great, but very sharp edges resembling the new 5 series BMW. Had the twin lights still although these might be again just to confuse.

So just keep an eye out on out of the way country roads.

In the third pic down, the roofline looks identiacal to the current AU/BA/BF bubble. :(

I think it is Orion.

Orion has a different glass house to BA/AU....thats one of the major complaints, you dont need a "scoop" to work that one out.

This thread should be thrown in with the other orion ones.

Of course it "looks" like a V series commo, thats just the trend at the moment. But hey why dont they just try something new and radical, that will work.

/end sarcasm

I reckon so, they look smaller indicating to me that it's either a coastal sandy variety (lang lang) or mallee (no I'm not don burke)

There is also a raised mound area in the foreground that goes straight across, one of the wider shots shows that a sign is on it at the left, looks to me like the high pressure gas or oil pipeline signs they have between Melb-Geelong or Melb-Gippsland. I'm trying to find a map for where it goes but cant find one

Ahhhh!! We need better pics, we're still guessing.
Now it looks like a hatch of sorts. Should not be long now though.

The first VE spy shots had fake buttresses on the c-pillars to disguise its shape. The same type of camo could be employed in this case, either that or it has a rather thick c-pillar.

Orion's roof has a totally different stamping from BA/BF.

Looks like a VE HSV (not saying that's a bad thing).

I want to see it in the metal (or without camouflage) before I say anything for or against it.

The only reason it looks like a hatch is the rear camouflage that is over the rear doors. In the third picture, you can almost see what looks like a spoiler.

Looks like a commodore 4 sum reason....

I think Ford are going to be very careful especially after EA pics were taken in 1985.
