Ford Transit World Rally Edition
A bit of a blast form the past, this Transit was a support vehicle to the Ford Rallye Sport Team, back in the days when Colin McRae was driving for Ford and Martini had sponsorship of the car. The Transit is actually a bit of a popular vehicle to modify in the UK as well, I know I have seen a few with full widebody kits, lowered with rims! How cool is that! I need something like that to transport my RS2000 around in! Thanks to Wulos for the photos! Tim! Last edited by Timmeh; 31-03-2005 at 11:40 AM. |

hey Tim, remember what I was talking about on the way back to my place that afternoon? I REALLY want a Transit van now!!
We could use it to cart around any Fiesta that decides to break down. :

I think there was an older version running around with a Ford Cosworth F1 Engine in the rear. I'll see if I can find the article on it.
Plenty of room in the back for my 'chair, too!! ______________________________________ The Fast-est 'chair in the Paddock. |

Ford Transit Supervan I, II and III. Supervan I was made back in 1971. Supervan II and III does something like 150mph. supervan II had the f1 engine but the more recent III has a cosworth v6.
Just found a site that has them all but its in a different language. http://avtomoto.siol.net/default.asp...04071413283464 Last edited by 0xyg3n; 01-04-2005 at 04:42 PM. |

Cmon guys, thats not a rallye car/van. Don't you know thats it's hard work rallying. That's the ice cream truck that delivers gelatis to the lads in the dirt.
