More like downgrading to a BA. No way I'd let go of my XR
That's why I've got a hilux.
Resale value stinks. I'm sure it would sell quick.

I have driven a few BA XR8's and BF's including force 6 and seats were surprisingly not as nice as mine, ride and brakes were better but handling way off what I expected.
Plus the interior plastics/vinyls are good in some spots and worse than AU in others

You've done an awesome job on that car, why not enjoy it for another few months or so

Spent two years rebuilding my XA coupe and two years loving driving it three times a week. Was better than new cars I drove except for the brakes of course.

Downgrading to a BA? Well thats one opinion. Personally, i love the AU and will always love AU's. Its time for something newer, a new project.
I really doubt an AU XR6 would be nicer to drive than a BF force 6 though. My dads XR6T is much nicer to drive than my AU, but the AU is still great to drive.

I went around to pick up a spare wheel off Glenn today, and he kindly let me take his beast for a drive, I tell you what, I wish it was for sale when I was buying my AU. It looks even better in the flesh and goes hard. The wheels are awesome. The manual is awesome. Whoever buys it will be very happy, and at the price it's going for it's a massive bargain. Cheers.

Just the steering department mainly. Like I stated it does ride much better than my VCT but for me the handling doesn't cut it. I've never driven a car that is so responsive to the smallest amount of steering lock. Kicks BA's butts through roundabouts

Just find all BA-BF models except the typhoon and GT to be very ugly inside and out

Yes I'm radical but why not
Best wishes for you and your new ride glenn.

Mate try and get a BA2 or BF1, I wouldn't touch a BA1.

Good luck with it though.

Are you friggin insane?

Nah mate, good luck with selling it. No-one has had a bite at mine, but at the moment I can't really afford to sell it, it's there if someone wants it.

Sorry - it's priced at $28,888 - a bit steep for a 2005 XT??

Not many sold, special order only really I've heard. Also quite a few come specc'd up with 17" rims and spoilers too..

Anyway, good luck with the search Glenn.

Cheers.

Well I suppose congratulations are in order, though I suspect some sadness is associated with the departure of the AU.
