Top windscreen seal

What's the best way to reseal this particular part? Noticed today that the rubber strip around the top of the windscreen (where it joins the roof) is starting to lift up a bit around one end, is there any special sealant etc used on these or is it just a matter of cleaning it up and sealing it back down with some araldite etc?

The windscreens are held in place with a urethane window adhesive sealant you can buy it in tubes (cartridge to fit caulking gun) from most auto paint / body repair suppliers usually under the brand name of sikaflex, it comes in 2 types, a windscreen / window sealant and an adhesive comonly used to stick body moundlings in place, both will work but the window adhesive has more flexibility when it's cured, as long as the surfaces are clean and dry you should be able to just stick the part back down, it takes about 6 to 12 hours to cure. Just run a bead into the gap, press the part down, clean off any excess with prepsol (wax and grease remover) and hold it in place overnight with masking tape. Last tube I bought cost about $18

There is a top mould available for Series two but Ford suggests you do NOT use on later or earlier models. Ford supply a NEW windscreen with the top mould already fitted.
