You flick em on, they dont flash, just light up and stay on. What can cause this?

Try putting on the hazard lights and checking all the globes are lighting up. Possibly a shot globe. If all the globes are good you will proberably need a new flasher unit. It is up under the dash above the fuse panel if i remember correctly

I'd 99% say its the flasher relay.

Just pull out the flasher relay and give it a good whack, then it should be as good as new.

In the fuse box, where your right knee hits the dash, in there, small black looking pluggable box.
