The base model is still called the XT as it was in the B-Series.

And BLUEPRINT I have no idea what GL is but XT is: X- To link it to the sports model and performance of the car, and T- To link it to a tourer. As for the G6E I have no idea if it has a word to coincide with any of the letters (apart from T for Turbooohhhh), and will stand by my Opinion that its a crappy idea. Don't worry either BionicSix, I have a whole pile of Fairmont badges, and if I ever get a G6 I plan to put one on there.

I was under the impression that XR stood for 'eXperimental Racer' or something to that effect.... so XT would be 'eXperimental Tourer'?
Oh what did GL stand for btw?? |

Just a thought the G - as in G6/E/T could stand for Grand or pay respect for Ghia. After all they say thats why they called it FG.....
