Hi all,
I noticed last night that my demister when turned on is causing my engine to stall, I've also noticed over the last few days that it seems to have struggled occasionly on startup, thought maybe the the starter motor or battery, but now with the demister thing not so sure. Any thoughts would be appreciated. : Cheers Bec

Try unplugging it at the window and then turning it on whilst it is unplugged. See if the engine still stalls. If not, drive around for a day like that and see if you still have slow cranking in the morning.

Unfortunately, it couldn't be somthing like the alternator which still would have been pricey but nowhere near as pricey as a seized aircon compressor, which is what was causing the prob :

Oh, front windscreen demister, right.
I always think rear windscreen when i hear demister.
