Default Proofread a Paper for me?

OK heres the scoop, I have to write a letter of "inquiry" and a letter of "refusal" for a class I'm in here at college.

Heres where <a volunteer> comes in. I want to write these letters using non-American English. I don't intend to use American spellings, syntaxes, anything I can use to make these letters as if they were genuine Australian English.

I'm doing this out of rebellion, because this class is equivalent to a grade school English class, and I know there are "alternatives" to American English in the world, and I want to drive that point home with my teacher, who appears is pretty dense.

My "volunteer" would need to be pretty proficient in formal writing, as these need to appear to be formal letters.

Thanks A Million.

If you can get em to me quickly i'll be happy to have a look. I have plenty of experience putting formal letters together.

If you are using microsoft word, set your dictionary to Australian (english) and not american, that might also help you.

That would catch my spellings, ie color vs. colour, but it won't pick up the subtle differences of the language, and neither would I, for that matter, by virtue of not ever having been down your way.

Wow, I completely forgot I had a thread about that. It turns out they did fine. The hurricane turned, and went north right up the state line. For all the commotion and craziness, it barely sprinkled. There was some light wind, and that was IT. For 2 days afterwords, they were telling me the area was just like Christmas Day. Since there was no gasoline, NO ONE was driving unless it was absolutely important. No businesses were open either because most of the employees had bugged out or were caught in that giant traffic jam I posted pictures of. All in all, we got the best possible outcome that could have happened, at least for our neck of the woods.
